This is the Toggle button. It is used to play the selected recording. It is also used to select choices in the
menu and move forward and backward in the file that is playing.
 

This is the menu button. It is used to navigate to each menu choice. Each time you push the Menu button the menu selection advances.

This is the volume control. It is used to increase and decrease the volume while a recording is playing.

This is the erase button. It is used to erase files. (Warning once a file is erased it is NOT retrievable)

This is the Record and Stop Button. Each time this button is pressed the recorder begins to record and creates a new numbered file.

This is the Play Stop FF and Rewind Button. It is also used to select choices in the menu and to chose recordings to play. You push the button "IN" to begin playing the selected file. You push "IN" again to stop Playing. You may "Toggle" up and down to FF or Rewind the recording while it is playing. On the left side of the display screen you will see a number, it is larger than the others. This number is the number of recordings you have. You can "Toggle" the Play Stop button up and down to choose the recording you would like to play. Then Push "IN" On the Play Stop button to begin playing. While in the menu section of the recorder the "Toggle" part of the Play Stop Button is used to scroll through the choices and then pushed "IN" to select.

The Menu Button is used to program functions of the Profusion Recorder. Each push of the Menu button advances the menu choice.
1 Push   REC: Hq  SP LP This is the recording quality. LP is 16 Hours SP is Approx. 8 Hours and Hq is approx 6 Hours. Use the "Toggle" to choose the recording quality and then push "IN" to select.
2nd Push  Vor:  This is "Voice Operated Recording" Use the Toggle to choose ON or OFF then push "IN" to select.
3rd Push  MIC: This is the microphone selection, you can choose HI, Lo or Us  (User)  Details on User selection can be found in your manual.
4th Push  Rep: No AL Fo F1 This is for playback repeat play. No: Each recording will play once and stop.
AL : All recordings will play until you stop the playback.
Fo : Repeat all recordings in the current folder
F1 : Repeat the current recording only.
5th Push Beep On Off  This is the beep heard when pushing buttons. Use the Toggle to choose ON or OFF then push "IN" to select.
6th Push SPR:  This is the playback speed. 100 is normal speed. The higher the number you set the faster the playback will be.
7th Push  USB: USB DC This is used to select what the USB plug on the left side of the unit will be used for USB setting is to upload recordings to the PC. DC is to allow for the use of the plug in adaptor.
8th Push  Lt  - Rep: On Off  This allows for you to be able to listen to your voice through microphone via the head phone while playing back your recordings.
9th Push Size of memory and firmware version.

The Volume control is used to control the volume level of the recordings while playing back. It functions while using the speaker as well as the earphone. It does not effect the recording and has no other function except volume level control.

Erase. The erase button is used to delete recordings from the ProFusion. Push the erase button once and the selected recording will begin to play. Push erase again and the file will be erased. (Warning The recordings are not retrievable) Push and hold the erase button until erase is displayed on the screen.  Release and push the erase button again to erase the entire folder. Please be sure this is what you want to do.
